Welcome to the Big Fish Tango Marathon 2025, a colorful event !
On June 27/28/29, we're taking you on a delicious weekend of tango in Sète, at the seaside Domaine du Lazaret... a great way to start the summer !
It's an event that we want to be social and festive, convivial, relaxed and high quality, benevolent and generous, sparkling and gentle, joyful and colorful.
We'll get you into the gentle energy of a spinning ronda, beautiful miradas and cabeceos, generous abrazos and late-night little rums.
We'll be dancing in a beautiful air-conditioned room, on a magnificent wooden floor, carried along by the music of international DJs.
From 8pm: welcome of participants. 10pm-3am: Rosita Lagos-Diaz (Lyon, France).
2pm-7pm: Alma Mia (Halle, Germany). 7pm: Complimentary aperitif. 10pm-3am: Marta Silvestre (Porto, Portugal).
2pm-7pm: Chloé Loizeau (Nîmes, France). 10pm-3am: Susanna Arbitrio (Rome, Italy).
Rosita Lagos-Diaz
Lyon - France
Rosita musicalizes everywhere, from Italy to the United States! Sensitive to the energies of the dance floor, she shares with dancers a wide range of rhythms and emotions, mainly from the Golden Age.
Alma Mia
Halle - Germany
Alma always chooses orchestras and songs with love and passion. She regularly entertains dancers all around Europe. With her husband Stefan OK, she successfully organizes Tango Tage Halle and the Besos de Miel marathon.
Marta Sylvestre
Porto - Portugal
Marta is in great demand at all international marathons.. Her style? “High Energy”! She takes dancers through the golden age of tango. She whispers a story with every tanda, and D'Arienzo is her favorite storyteller.
Chloé Loizeau
Nîmes - France
Chloé is a well-known DJ in Europe's encuentros.
Her music revolves around the tangos of the Golden Age, with a particular affinity for Guardia Vieja. Her musical choices strike a balance between dynamism, emotion and subtlety.
Susanna Arbitrio
Rome - Italy
Susanna plays music all over Europe, both on vinyl (her passion) and on her PC. She loves the tango of the Golden Age, and likes to add a touch of the 30s and 50s. She intends to transport us into a hurricane of positive energy that will make us forget everything else!!
Crossing France in a truck to attend folk balls, flying to Belgium on a whim, or driving to Frankfurt and back for 2 milongas... for 15 years, we've been sharing our passion for dance, with a little excess and a lot of good humor, always in search of magical, sometimes cosmic, connections. Today, we're lucky enough to dance to our hearts' content at a host of magnificent events, so in return, we're keen to help create these bubbles of happiness, these spaces for sharing and exchange. Welcome to our world!
Domaine du Lazaret welcomes us to its century-old pine forest, with direct access to the beach so grab your swimsuits ! We'll enjoy a beautiful 330m² air-conditioned venue. We'll be able to dance for hours in comfort, thanks to our friend Philippe's real wood floor, specially designed for dancing: the “Parquet Rebote”.
You can sleep ON SITE! Domaine du Lazaret offers single, double/twin and triple rooms. With its sea-view terrace, Le Lazaret offers all-you-can-eat buffets for lunch and dinner, with enough variety to suit all diets.
Full board in a “Confort” room:Nicknamed “the Venice of Languedoc”, Sète is a beautiful, colorful fishing town, with the Mediterranean Sea on one side and the Etang de Thau on the other. Take a stroll through its narrow streets, harbor, fish markets and numerous canals, and enjoy its sandy beaches.
You can register alone or as a couple. The order of inscription will not be a determining factor. We'll create a group of 180 passionate tanguer@s, with perfect role balance. We'll try to encourage conviviality, new discoveries, and diverse geographical horizons, with the emphasis on quality and respect for the ball. We will also pay particular attention to full-board registrations. See general conditions.
